Founded in 2005, PulpitPodcast focuses on archives of church lectures, sermons and daily devotionals allowing churchgoers to listen to audio messages throughout the week in support of the Sunday message and other programs and groups.

Each church in our database provides us with cassette tapes, CD's, or MP3 files of lectures, sermons or devotionals, and we prepare these materials for digital distribution by way of internet "podcasting" which is the latest way to receive updates of audio feeds on the internet.

Recent advances in the programming language known as "RSS" allow audio MP3 files to be embedded into news feeds which can be tracked by various kinds of software and also may be downloaded to portable MP3 players and taken anywhere for future listening.

Podcasting is a great opportunity for churches in particular to maintain archives of services and sermons, as well as to distribute audio devotionals during the week that lead up to the Sunday message. It also allows those unable to attend due to various reasons (medical, vacation, employment, away at college) to continue to "attend" church by downloading sermons and devotionals and listening to them literally anywhere in the world. It also allows missionaries to keep in contact with the home church by posting MP3 audio files back and forth..

Simply mail us your sermon tapes/CD's and we will take it from there. We convert the files every week and upload them with information about the particular sermon and maintain them at a specific location on our server. Please note we have changed to pulpitpodcast.org so update your bookmark.
